Several sites offer free legal music downloads without installing any software. Some of them are artistserver.com, music.download.com, and freeplaymusic.com.

I’ ve always used limewire to download music on my computer but, it always gives my computer viruses as I know alot of download sites do. Can anyone tell me about a good site for music that is free and isn’t high risk?? Thanks!

Lately i used limewire i lot and so my computer crashed because of a virus from one of the downloads.
I was wondering if there’s any really good sites out there that give you good quality music and don’t have viruses or other risks attached.

I want to be able to download songs and movies on my computer but I don’t want to have a bunch of viruses. I’ve asked before about music downloading sites that are efficient but won’t give you a virus but all people say is that there aren’t any unless you have good virus protection or you want to pay for them. So I want to know what will be good virus protection for downloading on a good music site that’s free.

Many sites claim to have free music downloads but require a membership fee. Are there any you can use without a credit card?

Set up for US access (log-in)to Yahoo but wish to change my country location (log-in) so that I may purchase music downloads!
